Yesterday Matt and the kids and I went over to aunt Joyces' so that Rachel could play with Mckayla. When we got there Bethany was making rolls using Laura's recipe. Oh my gosh, the whole house smelled so good! Anyway Matt got the bug. He made the dough and was leting it raise, when he went down to check on their progress he was disgruntled that they weren't raising the way he thought they should. I went down stairs to have a look and realized he was using a regular bath towel to cover them with. I told him they would never raise with such a heavy towel over them. Oops, I guess that's my fault. I had been slacking in the laundry area and all the dish towels were dirty. I told him to bake them anyway. They weren't as light as the ones Laura makes, but they still tasted fantastic!!! Great job honey!

Caleb, Ethan and more of poor Rachel's rash.

Some one thinks he is bigger than he is. He loves to watch his big sister and brother play and gets his arm flapping and legs kicking. You can just tell he wants to get down and play along with them!

Awww! Caleb and daddy looking at each other. How precious!

Isn't my boy getting so big? He is such a handsome boy with a big imagination and FUN personality! We love him so much.

And the following morning Rachel's rash looks like this! I didn't think it would get worse. Her poor little cheeks are nothing but one big rash, so much so that they are swollen. You can kind of tell because around her nose and mouth are rash free and very white compared to the rest of her face. She is even more itchy than before and getting frustrated with it. Poor girl was a little embarrassed that I took her picture in just her panties! Shame on mom.

Poor Rachel woke up with this rash this morning. It was a pre-school morning and she was mad that she couldn't go. "Mommy if I don't go to pre-school I can't go to recess." That is her favorite this do do at school. Needless to say she cried for a while. I took her to the doctor and he said she has a virus. It may take as long as a week to run its course. In the meantime she is miserable and itchy. Look at that sad little face!

The snow melted and made a hole. That night frost formed on the snow and in the hole. You can see the frost ferns and crystals. I thought it was pretty so I took a picture of it.

Frost on the tree across the street. The specs in the picture is the moisture in the air that had crystalized. In person it looked like gold glitter floating in the air. Every time I would breath out through my mouth it looked like a thick patch of glitter. Its was really pretty!

It's not a great picture but all the white on the tree is frost.

Lips, Clips, Cellar and Uncle Michael.

OH NO! MY KIDS GOT INTO MY LIP PLUMPING GEL!

The finished product from the back. Lets just say it took me a little bit to get all of them out! They a a blast doing it though.

The finished product from the front.

Rachel and her friend Abby putting Rachel's little hair clips in my hair. Doesn't it look like fun?

I have to say it is so nice to see all that food on the shelves!

The thresh hold to our cellar. Yes it is an actual cellar under the house.

What a good daddy and uncle!
Thanks for being a good sport Michael.

Chritmas

My two cute kids in front of the down stairs tree. We didn't get a picture of the upstairs tree. I called it our charlie brown tree in that the kids had almost complete control of how it was decorated. Now I wish I did have a picture of it. Oh well.

Mommy and Ethan going sledding for the first time together! I had my feet in the snow to, however I didn't let them skiff the top. I was a little scared so I dug me feet in so no snow went in Ethan's face. I forgot how fast you go! If you ask Ethan if he wants to go sledding again and his answer is yes!
Holy cow I should have put make-up on!

Daddy and Rachel going sledding together for the first time! Rachel did not like it! Matt dragged his feet lightly on top of the snow but it was enough to cover Rachel's face with snow and made her cry. I don't think she will go sledding again for a long time! I don't blame her, who wants their face caked with snow their first time sledding. Poor girl.
As you can see Rachel loves anything barbie.

Ethan loves his book to!

Its so fun to open presents on Christmas morning!!

He couldn't get any more happy if he tried bless his heart!

Do you think my little brown eyed baby liked his first taste of chocolate?

I have a freaking awesome sister inlaw!!!! Thank you Kristen for helping me get my blog off and running!! I never thought I would be doing one of these but here I am. I'm not promising how vigilant I will be at this but I'll do my best. I have looked at lots of your blogs and have enjoied it so much that when Kristen mentioned again about me having a blog, I caved. I have to say I'm glad I did. I have already had a blast! Next time though there wont be so many entries for the same date. Hahahaha!Check Spelling

Rachel loves to make snow angels! Daddy, Rachel and Ethan were out in the snow building a snowman.

our cute kids

I love my little family!!! It is so fun to see them grow and see their personalities come out. I can't wait to see what Caleb's personality is going to be like!
Kristen has convinced me to start a blog! I have no clue what I'm doing so bear with me. One day it will look cute like all of yours, I just have to learn the tricks of the trade.
Yesterday and today we have had nothing but SNOW! We have probably gotten about 8 inches. Matt and the kids went out and built a snow man, made snow angels and had a snow ball fight. Now they are tired and cranky but at least they had fun! All I have to say is Thank goodness for an early night! Matt and I will be able to have some much needed US time.
A quick little update about our little family. Matt was laid off the week before Christmas. He has had a hard time trying to find a temp job until the union calls him with something more permanent. I am pretty boring. I stay home with the kids, Which I love! Rachel attends preschool at West Side Elementary School and is loving it. She tells us her favorite thing about preschool is recess! Of course! She is also a great little mommy to Caleb. Ethan loves to play with his toys. He mostly loves to play with his trains, cars and motorcycles. He has a wonderful imagination, and a great little personality. Caleb is now 5 months old. His favorite thing to do is smile at his mommy, which of course melts my heart! That is about it for now.
